Cognitive Learning Styles

We all have certain learning styles we use to learn, some learn and remember cognitively, and as a article called "Diversity, Learning Style and Culture" by Pat Burke Guild says, at:: http://home.avvanta.com/~building/strategies/styles/guild.htm   "Cognitive involve receiving, obtaining, taking possession of, and discerning information, ideas, and concepts."   So, we all have different learning styles, and we have to obtain our nich of learning.
The article goes on to say,   "Some of us best perceive what is real; others clearly see possibilities with their imaginations, and some, see part of the whole."  And, we adapt to our own learning styles to enjoy the most out of learning.  As the article says, " Learning Cognitively can affect the way a cognitive-learner views slides from a Power Point Presentation with the reductions of viewing options in resolutions and methods displayed as it pulls a negative punch, from a article called PowerPoint Does Rocket Science--and Better Techniques for Technical Reports, Assessing the Quality and Credibility of Technical Reports."  Noted at: http://bit.ly/AtBHU by Edward Tufte, Copyright: September 6, 2005.
There are many learning styles to check out the way the different people learn.
Sharpening cognitive skills of learning.
The study of personality traits by Allport, Gordon Willard (1897-1967) a personality theorist, and the study of personality traits help someone with a cognitive learning style in learning.

  1. I like how you have a lot of links, and you do a nice job with your tags. The post however, is confusing to me. I am not clear what you are saying. You open quote and do not close them so I cannot see where your citation begin and end.
